2-day Tickets: You will receive one ticket for BOTH days via email immediately after purchase, to be scanned at the gates

Single Day Tickets: You will receive your Single Day ticket via email immediately after purchase, to be scanned at the gates

All tickets are sent as digital print passes and sent from tickets@universe.com. The easiest method to enter the festival & scan your ticket will be to save the QR code to your phone wallet in advance of arrival.

Universe is the sole ticketing provider for this event. We recommend purchasing tickets from www.breakawayfestival.com or an official Breakaway Ambassador via Universe. Breakaway is not responsible for the validity for tickets purchased via another site.

What are the festival's age restrictions?

Breakaway is an 18+ event. Certain ticket types (ie. Space Deck Terrace) are 21+. Please read each ticketing description prior to checkout to view the age restriction for that ticket type.

Can I upgrade my tickets?

VIP upgrades can only be accommodated at the Box Office on the day of the event, subject to availability and prices may vary. Ultra VIP and Space Deck Terrace upgrades can only be done in advance by emailing sales@teambreakaway.com.

Can I re-enter the festival once I've left?

There is no same-day reentry into the festival.

What items are prohibited to bring into the festival?

● Large bags, larger than 14x6x14, including backpacks

● Professional camera equipment: detachable lenses, tripods, battery packs, large commercial

● Individual glow sticks

● Chairs (including foldable and lawn)

● Frisbees and sports balls (soccer balls, footballs, etc.)

● Remote controlled aircraft or unmanned aircraft systems (Drones)

● Weapons of any kind, including but not limited to knives, pepper spray, stun guns, concealed

weapons and firearms (Regardless of Concealed Carry Permit)

What items are permitted to bring into the festival?

● Small bags 14x6x14 or smaller; no backpacks or large bags (subject to search upon entry)

● Prescription medication must be in the pharmacy bottle with a current & valid prescription stating: your name, medication name and dosage. Our medical staff will verify this if necessary. You must have a valid ID ready to present if requested. The name on your valid ID and the name on the current & valid prescription bottle must match. You are entering the event with sufficient medication for one day.

If you will be bringing any medical supplies that require disposal after use, please use appropriate ease containers found at our Medical Tents, please for the safety of our staff that handles the trash - do not dispose of these items in the trash bins or portable restrooms.

Medications that need to be inhaled are allowed only by prescription, and must meet the same requirements listed above, an example of this would be an inhaler.

Marijuana and Medical Marijuana, in any form, is not allowed at Breakaway. 

Please Note: Drugs of any kind (including cannabis and cannabis products) are prohibited without exception.

● While Breakaway does have a bag policy, we make exceptions for diaper bags. These bags do not have to be clear and can be larger than the listed requirements of 14x6x14. Diaper bags should be soft sided and have no locked compartments. They will be subject to the same respectful security screening as other items. The same will apply for breast pumps.

● Flags (no poles) are allowed

● Empty Hydration packs, clear of all liquid and no more than two total pockets (one reservoir and one additional pocket), no larger than 14x6x14.

● 1 Empty Reusable Water Bottle per person (must be transparent plastic and no larger than 1 Liter)

● Non-aerosol sunscreen, bug spray, deodorant, hand sanitizer, wet wipes (small/travel size)

● Feminine hygiene products

● Glowing or illuminated costumes or jewelry

● Cigarettes (unopened packs only), vapes, Juuls or other electronic smoking devices

● Hula Hoops (including LED hoops), LED whips, pois & orbitals, gloves, microlights, flowlights

● Blankets, yoga mats, sheets, towels, and moon mats

● Ponchos

● Misting Fans (small)

● Earplugs

*Items that are deemed to be unsafe, inappropriate, or are being used for purposes other than intended may be confiscated on-site.

Will the festival have food & drinks available?

We will have plenty of food vendors serving delicious food all day, as well as plenty of bars serving non-alcoholic beverages in addition to beer and liquor for those 21+.

What if I lose an item at the festival?

What happens if it rains or there is severe weather?

Breakaway is rain or shine. In the event of rain and non-severe weather, the festival will continue as planned. In the event of severe weather (including lightning, high winds, tornado, etc), under the direction of local authorities and venue policies to ensure the safety of all patrons, the festival may be postponed until weather passes with no refunds. Should severe weather be present in the area, announcements will be made from the Main Stage PA system.

Can I pay with cash at the event?

Breakaway is a cashless event, although some non-food/beverage vendors may take cash as an acceptable form of payment.

ARE THERE ASL INTERPRETERS AT BREAKAWAY?

ASL Interpreting is provided by request. Requests for ASL Interpreters must be received 30-days prior to your Breakaway Festival. You can email your request for ASL Interpreters to: hey@teambreakaway.com and note “ASL Request” in the subject. Our Accessibility Director will get back to you.

Service Animals At Breakaway

When passing through the gates you will receive a short & respectful screening by a member of the Access Team. A band will then be placed on the collar or harness of your Service Animal. This band is purely a visual alert to all our staff that you have already been screened and ensure that you are not stopped and asked multiple times in the different areas of the event. This tag is only for your ease of movement throughout the festival and is not a credential to get you into the festival. You must have a valid wristband/ticket for entry.

Please Note: You will not be asked for any documentation for your service animal however, all canine service animals (including those from out of state) must have proof of current and valid rabies vaccination on them or with their handlers at all times. Proof in the form of a tag on the canine is not adequate, handlers must have a paper copy from their veterinarian showing valid dates. You may be asked for this upon entry. This is the only documentation that you will ever be asked for by Team Breakaway staff This is for the safety of all of our valued fans.

1. The tag placed on your service animal must remain for the entire event.

2. Your Service Animal must always remain with you & it must be your service animal.

3. Your Service Animal must be under your control at all times and have a collar or

harness and lead.

4. If (for some reason) your Service Animal displays unsafe behavior of any kind, we reserve the right to ask you to remove the animal from the festival.

5. There will be Service Animal Relief Areas around the event. Please stop by the

Guest Services/Info tent for locations. Handlers are responsible for cleaning up after their Service Animal.

6. We reserve the right to facilitate removal and/or refuse access to any animal from the venue if that animal is deemed to be a health or safety threat to festival fans, staff, or other service animals, or in violation of our policies.
